Joomla 1.5 SEO tip - how to change the title tag
Had a client wanting the title tag changed to some juicy SEO-friendly keywords and I thought "easy job" - well, not quite.
Joomla 1.5 is based on a single page template. The title is inserted dynamically based on settings in the admin. It should be easy to change the title tag but is surprisingly well buried & not in the normal admin areas you'd first think so he's the tip...
1. Log in to the Joomla backend (www.yoursite.com/administrator).
2. Go to Menus -> Main Menu -> click on Home
3. In the right col accordion menu choose Parameters - System -> Page Title.
4. Change the Page Title field with your own juicy keywords
5. SAVE
